Amma leads the Africa region of Reach for Change – a Venture Philanthropist which runs accelerators, incubators and hubs for social entrepreneurs in key growth markets including Ghana, Senegal and Ethiopia. Reach for Change identifies and invests in social entrepreneurs, who have the highest potential to improve the world for children, women and youth and implements, programs to scale their impact. Entrepreneurs receive funding, training, coaching, etc. to develop and scale their organizations to deliver measurable social impact in a way that is financially sustainable. She brings to this role a background as a social entrepreneur and a passion for children’s rights. She is also a co-founder of Social Enterprise Ghana, the industry group for social enterprises in Ghana, a Fellow of the Africa Leadership Initiative-West Africa and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
