Temsalet Kitchen

Feteh is currently CEO of Temsalet. Together with her co-founders, they decided to focus on the hospitality sector in order to address gender issues. Temsalet aims to empower women who are less educated and are not compensated for their hard work at home. Temsalet aspires to create a platform for women who want to unleash their full potential but often due to life’s circumstances and society’s expectations are not able to do so. Temsalet Kitchen is a cosy restaurant that was founded in 2015. It is located at the heart of Addis Ababa and employs over 20 female staff. Temsalet also partners with mainly female food suppliers and female business owners. On top of that, the social business allows young female photographers, poets, writers, and musicians to use the restaurant space in order to show their talents and set an example for younger generations.
