Noble Cup

Sara is a philosophical entrepreneur combatting menstruation stigma — passionate and creative in changing the global dialogue of monthly uterus lining shedding, producing products and discourse to make life while bleeding easier, cleaner and safer. In 2018 she founded Noble Cup, an Ethiopian menstrual cup company that focuses on sharing the power of an alternative, leak-free, zero-waste method of menstruation management. She grew up traveling with period products from her summer visits in California. When she was 25, she tried a menstrual cup and realised how liberating and easy it was to use, a product that could greatly improve the lives of Ethiopian women who do not have access to products due to lack of disposable income for disposable products. She has a filmmaking BFA from Tische, New York University and a Masters in Contemporary Art Theory from Goldsmiths, University of London.
