Teddy is founder of the Center for African Leadership Studies (CALS) and sister company xHub Addis, a social business incubation and innovation center.
With a conviction and philosophy that the blend of leadership and social entrepreneurship brings social transformation, Teddy has served, trained, coached, and mentored more than 10,000 leaders and entrepreneurs in 12 African countries in more than 75 organisations, and is one of the pioneering leadership experts who showed the need for leaders development programs in the public sector in Ethiopia.
He has closely worked with and advised the Ministry of Women, Children, and Youth on Emerging leaders development and other programs. He was one of the consultants leading the organizational reform of the Ministry of Finance of Ethiopia 2018/19. He also recently served as a panelist in a televised discussion with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.
