The tours will give delegates a fresh perspective to a local tradition that is intertwined with the community and enjoy the long history, culture and topography of the country.
Delegates can choose from two locations, the Northern and Southern part of Ethiopia. The Lalibela-northern part is rich with history and topography whereas Arba Minch- southern part is known for its natural resources and it’s the richest Region in terms of having ethnic diversity. On both locations, we will visit social enterprises impacting their communities and changing lives.

Dorze village is located in Gamo Gofa Zone of the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples Region in Ethiopia. It is located in the mountain part of Arba Minch area which creates a unique view over the lake and the back land valley. The area is well situated for daily activities, e.g. village tour, trekking to the mountains and other activities around Arba Minch.
Lalibela is a tourist destination that is growing in popularity. The 11 medieval monolithic cave churches of this 13th- century ‘New Jerusalem’ are situated in a mountainous region in the heart of Ethiopia near a traditional village with circular- shaped dwellings.
